Damn This Valley
He kept blinking
and he couldn't stop
sneezing like so full
of caged gods
It's this valley he said
I want out
but he had no wheres
so he tried to fall in
love with it
now when he closes
the eyes they speak to
him in hot colors
and whenever he finds himself
at one of those awkward
goddamn parties
he always has something
to say that softens every face
in the room
yes people like to be around
him the eternal sneeze aside
they say his presence gets
you high and not just because
he always has a joint
on him
