i pine, i wilt
undoing the ugly
one dress at
a time
meanwhile, tirelessly
waning....
i confess, i desire
imagine sky up
call to arms, like
knife play face
up and
swallowed...
oh, autumn king
turning doubt
into crackling
fodder like
you can
chew it...
rejoice, queen
fall, collect
night harvest
grow daylight
like
science....
You are really cooking with this one--little shocks almost around every corner. There's something different here, a little more charge than usual, to this one, and I'm going to have to sit and think about where that's coming from.
ReplyDeleteI see an opportunity, though. That very last word... my nerves saw that one coming. Any way you could say the same thing with a different word--one that evokes that same mood without directly describing or naming it?
Ante upped. I like where this takes me at the end. But now there's a really interesting possibilty that popped up: what would it read like if the penultimate line was "like"..."like/ science"?

ReplyDeleteGreat post right here. One thing I’d like to say is that often most professional areas consider the Bachelor Degree like thejust like the entry level standard for an online degree. Whilst Associate Certification are a great way to begin, completing your own Bachelors uncovers many opportunities to various employment opportunities, there are numerous online Bachelor Diploma Programs available coming from institutions like The University of Phoenix, Intercontinental University Online and Kaplan. Another concern is that many brick and mortar institutions give Online variations of their college diplomas but commonly for a greatly higher payment than the companies that specialize in online higher education degree plans. hard wax
